Delete your account

You can delete your Both Sides account and the data that goes with it at any time, in either of two ways.

Option 1 — inside the app (instant)

1. Open Both Sides and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately.

Option 2 — by email

Send an email to amitskamble7@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my Both Sides account", sent from the email address your account is registered with (so we can verify it's really you). We will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted, and what is retained

• Deleted immediately: your account and sign-in details (including your email address), your profile, and any data older versions of the app stored with your account (such as saved stories).
• Retained: usage records — which stories were viewed, keyed to your former account identifier. Once your profile is deleted these cannot identify you by name or email. If you use the email route above, they are removed as part of processing your request.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Records we are legally required to retain are kept.
